The painting in this post is probably the most grotesque of all my grotesque works, it is about my struggle with eating disorders. I would like to do more along this line but it is quite disturbing to do as well, quite emotional. but sometimes they are the best too!

Please excuse me -- I meant to say (in the second sentence), "All I've seen of the grotesque in your work is the photo titled 'Halloween Party 2005 - 1.'"

Best wishes.

Hi there --

Beauty and grotesque. Interesting parallel. all i've seen of your paintings are beautiful -- the only thing i've seen is the photo titled "Halloween Party 2005 - 1." The comparison is centuries old, and still, as far as I can see, a basic drive in ALL art.

Please understand, I DO NOT consider myself an artist: I am an admirer of art. As a lover of the the dark and the macabre, I am not sure I fully understand YOUR distinction. I would be VERY interested in viewing more of your work. I am unable to travel, but if we could establish a dialogue, possibly allowing me to see more of your work in digital format, I would be very grateful.

Again, I wish for a dialogue, hopefully one in which i could contribute something useful. I am a gay man, happily partnered, but also a lover of the female form.

I would enjoy your comment. Be Well.

Sincerely,
