Seriously? The way the big sites are censoring anything and everything (various LJ fiascos come to mind, here), the best thing any artist that is even remotely ‘controversial’ can do is to have their own site, under their own control. This, of course, runs into the problem of promotion… which is where the idea falls over, unfortunately.

As for a realistic solution? Sorry, fresh out of ideas.
