I am so tired of myspace as I am sure many other people are. I had an issue with them a while back where they disabled my link to my personal site. I was not even selling anything. They did not want to listen but they finally decided to give in once they saw what I did. www.twilightsaura.com/myspace.html who knows how long it will be before my page gets deleted.

hang in there.

Thanks Rich! :) I agree with you about myspace, although it does have powerful networking advantages, I'm not sure they are enough to overthrow the big brother aspect.

Forget MySpace. It is no place for artists anyway. I believe blogs are for artists. They are not restricted by big brother and you can post, do, say, what you want.

By the way...the reason why I was gonna post in the first place was to simply compliment your painting "Turmoi". I love your style!

Thanks for posting.

Peace,
Rich Harris

I'm bugging them for a statement, I have a temporary page up explaining what happened for my old friends and such, but I am currently trying to reach a real person rather than a bot to tell me the exact levels of nudity allowed and the position on art. after that who knows? probably big stink time..

Take off and nuke MySpace from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Seriously? The way the big sites are censoring anything and everything (various LJ fiascos come to mind, here), the best thing any artist that is even remotely 'controversial' can do is to have their own site, under their own control. This, of course, runs into the problem of promotion... which is where the idea falls over, unfortunately.

As for a realistic solution? Sorry, fresh out of ideas.
