Force – 21×36 Oils on Canvas by Jennie

usually I am quite happy to talk about my paintings, where they come from, that they mean to me.. but this one, I’m just not ready to talk about it yet. It had to come out eventually- I think it is pretty obvious what it’s about and why. another in a line of very hard paintings to get out, it took me over in ways I don’t feel comfortable describing and at the end I was an emotional and physical wreck.

at the beginning I thought I might glaze the blindfolds on as with some of my others and try to get past it and make it a viable piece for an upcoming exhibition but now I am loathe to touch it.
