Nothing Is Too Wonderful To Be True CHRISTINELook at the way the moon behaves.Look at the way she paintsA silver ribbon on the waves. One thing I’ve learned and I’ll share with you-Nothing is too wonderful to be true. Each moment opens like a flower. The age of miracles comesEvery hour on the hour.Turn any corner,There’s something newAnd nothing is too wonderfulTo be true.If I’m perceived to beNaive to be the way I amLet people say I am a silly goofIs life a plateful? Am I grateful?Every day I am,It’s an amazing world in which we liveAnd I’ve got living proof.Look at the way the moon behaves.Look at the way she paintsA silver ribbon on the wavesLeading directly to me and you.Nothing is too wonderful to be true.Nothing is too wonderful to be true.Oh, can’t you see it? Can’t you see it?FREDDYYou know, I think I can.CHRISTINETell me.FREDDYUh…Magic can happen anywhereI knew this guy at campWho ate his t-shirt on a dare.My hotel gives away free shampoo.Nothing is too wonderful to be true.CHRISTINEGo on.FREDDYGeez…Sometimes God grantsYour heart’s desire-Once I was caller number eight;I won a set of tires. They held up that midgetWith Krazy GlueNothing is too wonderful to be true.FREDDY/CHRISTINENothing is too wonderful to be true.?????

30th July – Brief Sketch

This is my brief abstract concept of pain. or more specifically pain emerging. it is an image that has been growing in my head steadily and this is what it has come down to. I am quite pleased with it, I might render it into a large painting with lots of reds yellows and whites…

31st July – Photography

I spent all afternoon with Liam schlepping around Melbourne to get some shots for my next photography assignment…. I dont know which ones I am going to choose but I thought I might put some of my favorites up here. The one with the Rowers wont go in my assignment as it isn’t appropriate – but I do still really like it.

29th July

Just a couple of quick sketches – reasonably stylized but still emotive I think. didn’t publish it yesterday because I was ginishing up my essay and going out to dinner!

Art by Bubbalah

You may have heard me write or talk about my kitten and her fascination for art. the good news is – she no londer seems to be attacking my canvasses!anyway, because this site has been devoid of cuteness for way too long, may I present the amazing artistic stylings of Kodachi!this table is way too boring!this work needs a touch of blue….They’re MY brushes!

28th July – Red Nude

This was a delve into expressionism and a chance to use colors I almost never use. It came from a dream using reds and purples in swirling lines. It was a pretty dream. Unfortunately the figures shape was more dynamic – it might have worked better. Again my facisnation in linking shapes have come to…

Europe

I cant really remember the exact itinerary.anyway, there were so many brilliant memories (and some not so brilliant ones, I didn’t really fit in with the group very well – but it’s where RealKosh and I became good friends so that is good!… but this is an art blog so I will focus on my brillian artistic memories – for more memories there is a huge rambling comment on RealKosh’s post on Pah’s Blog.Europe is a mecca for artists (possibly seconded by New York) I loved France and Italy especally, moving through landscapes that are like paintings grants a new apprecaition…. so I loved every gallery filled minute!I got to see, in real life, the Sistine Chapel ceiling, the David, Guernica, Starry Night, the Mona Lisa, some sculptures by Degas and Rodin and many works by some of my favorite artists including Carravaggio and Lautrec!

27th July – Oil Nude

This was a particularly wierd piece with abstractions, slight distortions and a very dark overtone. I am wondering what is says about me because it seems to be deeply psychological – I think it is an interesting partner to my dark piece below. the photo is not very good – I still need to pick…
