I ascribe to my Granny’s view on astrology and tarot etc. It is a good philosophy. It goes: its all fun to read and if the results are good then you can be happy and excited and suitably awed, if the news is bad – its a load of hokum.

I was reading my horoscopes and tarot readings on my mobile (on 3 services) because I was bored and I came up with this particularly interesting reading.

The Past: Watch your feelings, for although they could run away with you, they’ll also imbue you with superb artistic inspiration.

and I thought, well that’s all good… Then it came to my future ‘reading’ and I got:

It’s all very well to be a creative genius but you’ll remain undiscovered unless you advertise your talents now.

By the way, just so my opinions are on record, what is with the Archibald prize? Janis two faced is a great paining – but as a portrait? Specifically a portrait winning the Archie?
