…Wow that artwork’s a piece of Shit!

Wim Delvoye seems to have made his career focussing on many things that some people might consider Shit.

The Cloaca works are machines that are fed with real food, passing through a range of acids and the food emerges as..um.. end product. on a lovely revolving turn table.

Apparently the machine suffers from constipation, Diahorrea and wind on a regular basis. there are valves placed along different intervals to allow the machine to ‘fart’.

This is the same artist who produced a series of taxadermied ducks in a chain with their heads stuck up each others.. and in related pieces a series of lipstick imprints of womens anus’.

I think that Wim Delvoye may have a slight issue with fecalphilia… but his intended comments on modern art are very poignant indeed!
