The Guatemalan Insanity Peppers Episode of the Simpsons is currently on. This is unequivocally my favorite episode and has been for years. The visual imagery is a perfect example of carefully introducing surrealism to the mainstream – very Daliesque but not in a stereotypical way. a wonderful melding of surreal artwork, creative authoring and humor – just as art should be. also some great subtle references. plus its a good episode.
