Spot the difference

my pictures are far superior in color and detail, I spend less time trying to take good photos and manipulating them and more time for everything else…. Take a look at these two photos, one from my old camera and one from my new one – spot the difference?… I am sketching like crazy at the moment, it’s a great way to hold the withdrawal pains at bay and I am getting new ideas for paintings.

Is Nudity Warping Children’s Minds?

A story receiving less press than the Texas teacher scandal is another in New York of an art Teacher who is currently suspended and may be fired after recommending to some of his advanced students that they take life drawing classes…. In December 2005 Mr. Panse was suspended from his job for recommending that some of his advanced students consider taking figure drawing courses that included nude figure drawings…. no matter what relationship the artist and model may have outside the studio there is a magic that happens when the model adopts the pose that turns them into a breathing still life.

Gallery services like Sculptr and Boundless serve to elevate the nature on online art sales and demystify the art collecting process for many. I personally really like selling online, it makes sense given my online experience and physical weaknesses, it is also a great way to tap into international markets…. The photos of my latest works have been taken with my new camera which I love – I will post more on that later.

quick pictures, songs – random snippets into my mind and what inspires me during the dark times. This song is from Little Women, which is surprisingly good, eclipsed by other musicals in the time of it’s release but this song really speaks to me…. it is hard to let your inner self take over, to let something personal come out like that…. My works are often quite personal, but slightly superficial, not that deep because I am afraid to let it all out – how do I show it?… I will lie there and watch my pencil – it moves on it’s own, I am completely detached, watching it fly across the page, and the things that come out surprise me.
