I’m a little behind with documenting this as I have a cold but anyway, I softened the queens face, changed her eyes and altered her mouth to try to capture more of her character. she is still a looooong way off. I think I am beginning to get some character and life coming into her face, the resemblance is still off but I am beginning to see the shell of her appearing if that makes sense.
The king, on the other hand is coming along nicely. for some reason I have always been better at painting portraits of men. I don’t know why. He is getting a nice quiet dignity about him.
