Well, modifications are almost complete on my new Blog format. I think it is looking pretty good so far. the top right will have a featured artwork- I’m currently working out how it will work and look and how often it will be updated. let em know if you are experiencing any problems with the interface. I can’t change the source code but I can modify the CSS.
Hey there Jennie …. liking the new look blog…… the trick to keeping it going is to realise PEOPLE LIKE ME READ IT! ha ha seriously it certainly helps sift through the minuaete of daily life and recognise and identify all those inperceptible influences that tend to pour out in our art….. I know how much it helps me focus and i know i have readers too so i write or just post pics the tell the story,,,, sometimes when i am not feeling particularly wordy i just post pics to tell the tale. After all we are artists and work visually…. what else could you expect? Hope all is well in your part of the world and spring is just around the corner!
Thanks Wendy! I think you are right, I lost track of what my blog was about, and got discouraged and then feel out of the habit entirely. silly really. but now I have the opportunity to regain it and I am looking forward to it again 🙂 thanks for your words on encouragement – I will think of them every time I find myself drifting back again..
I like your new blog layout. It’s all showing nicely in firefox at my end. I think the grey theme of the page makes even the slightest hint of colour in your works gleam with an intensity that the white background did not reveal. It also allows the modelling of the figures recede naturally into the soft grey darkness. I think it displays your work to good advantage.
I have a pile of art show entry forms (of the local craft show variety) sitting on my desk, but I haven’t the heart to open them because I know I don’t have the time to produce any works to enter in them. Oh well. This course I’m doing won’t last forever.
Meanwhile, I’m glad you’ve gotten your mojo back. 🙂
Thanks Jacinta 😀 I think it was time for a change. I hope you get some time to create soon – it’s like oxygen really
