New York, NY — Just two months after start-up and deep into the call for our third N*des-of-the-Month calendar (November 2006, deadline Wednesday), barebrush.com is delighted to welcome art from our first international member, Australian artist Jennie Rosenbaumbarebrush Events & News: barebrush.com Welcomes International Art:I have the honor of being the first international artist on Barebrush.com!
my pictures are far superior in color and detail, I spend less time trying to take good photos and manipulating them and more time for everything else…. Take a look at these two photos, one from my old camera and one from my new one – spot the difference?… I am sketching like crazy at the moment, it’s a great way to hold the withdrawal pains at bay and I am getting new ideas for paintings.
Gallery services like Sculptr and Boundless serve to elevate the nature on online art sales and demystify the art collecting process for many. I personally really like selling online, it makes sense given my online experience and physical weaknesses, it is also a great way to tap into international markets…. The photos of my latest works have been taken with my new camera which I love – I will post more on that later.
As I am doing some online selling, working hard on my online presence, and starting to approach galleries for representation I need top notch presentation…. So, based on recommendations from photographers and much research I have bought the Panasonic DMC FZ7…. It’s one of these cameras that has great automatic facilities and does great work for minimal effort but I also have the opportunity to work completely manually and add different filters and stuff so I think it will be flexible enough for my needs now, and later on. mmm, America’s Next Top Model is on now, an all new season!
The High Vibes festival was dampened slightly which sucks but there were still quite a few people around. It was very neat, such a cool, free festival with hippies dancing in the street – pure expression everywhere and my work on display for all to see – a pretty cool feeling 🙂 It reminded me how far I am from my corporate career and how happy I am to be back in the world of art and expression and freedom…. and how I am now, truly free.It was a very cool feeling indeed.
Last night was so great, the show looked fantastic, it had a great vibe. I think the main difference, for me, was that I felt much more confident in my collection. Seeing my paintings up there, the results of all my work, made me feel so good. I knew I had done my best, each…
I am so excited about tonight, I can’t believe it’s all here, and done and ready! yet, I don’t feel as panicky, or stressed or worried as the last one. I feel good about the work I’ve put in, and the prices, and everything. It feels right somehow. Today I am going to be disgusting…
Well, I lost the long battle with the lurgy. it has invaded my system and is making me do sweet FA. 🙄 I am in pretty good shape for the show and the amazing power of painting that helps me to ignore my pain also helps me ignore being sick. I am trying not to…
