This painting is an enormous source of inspiration for me. Painted by Munch, this is a stark and emotive piece that gives me chills. It is striking and powerful with slight distortions and a hard edge that makes it very empathic. The light lines and different tones create a sketcherly aspect with a soft flow that contrasts the heavy and dark aspects.
