I honestly don’t understand the big fuss made over nudity and sex in films. It’s silly. On TV, the children can watch people murdering each other, which is a very unnatural thing, but they can’t watch two people in the very natural process of making love. Now, really, that doesn’t make any sense, does it?
I like that quote. I did not realise how repressed western thought was until I saw a blotch over a dog’s penis as the dog just walked by or, when they gave a warning for sexual content for a child’s documentary on animal mating.
This quote is even more meaningful coming from a victim of volence, Sharron Tate. You can show volence on TV, in movies, and video games, but not the nude human body.
this quote hit me pretty hard, it is such a bizarre dichotomy that violence is so accepted and nudity, something so natural, is not. I just will never understand…
